INGREDIENTS TIPS

CREAM CHEESE
Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing your ingredients! This will allow for a creamier mixture. If you have a handheld or stand mixer, those can be helpful too!

CHICKEN
I like to use poached chicken breast (just boiled in salted water until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165F) BUT you can always use store bought rotisserie chicken (or shredded chicken breast) – whatever is easiest for you!

Buffalo Chicken Dip: Recipe Instructions

Mixing the Dip

In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper until smooth. My key tip here is to use softened cream cheese prior to mixing – just let it sit out on the counter a few minutes before you plan to make the dip to let it come to room temperature.

Once the cheese has mixed and is relatively smooth, add the shredded chicken, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and scallions and fold it all in together to form your dip.

Transfer to an oven safe container

Once the dip is mixed and the chicken, cheese and scallions are folded in, transfer the dip to an oven safe dish and spread evenly. Top with more shredded cheese and now we’re ready to bake!

Bake until golden brown

Add the dip to a preheated 400F oven and bake the dip for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese has melted and bubbling. Top with freshly chopped scallions and serve with chips, vegetable sticks, crackers, and enjoy!
