These Crumbl monster cookies are made the perfect cookie to use up leftover Halloween candies! They are thick and chewy cookies, packed with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and M&m’s candies. Perfect for when those sweet tooth cravings hit.

For Halloween week, Crumbl released their fan-favorite Monster cookies for the week. The number of requests I received to remake them were crazy so I had to do it ASAP! I used a mixture of brown and granulated imperial sugar to get that chewy texture from Crumbl and trust me when I say this, we succeeded!

This is the best Halloween Crumbl Monster cookie recipe ever!

This recipe couldn’t have been released at a more perfect time too! I feel like a lot of us are going to have extra leftover candy from Halloween so what more of a reason to make these cookies.

Plus you can always mix and match, so instead of using chocolate chips, you can go with chopped-up Twix or Reese’s cups… or whatever the heart desires really!

Ingredients for these Monster cookies

  • Butter– You can use either salted or unsalted butter, whatever you have on hand will work.
  • Imperial Sugar light brown sugar & Imperial Sugar ganulated sugar– The combination of sugars will yield a more chewy cookies with a lot more depth of flavor.
  • Egg– The egg is the binding agent in these cookies.
  • Vanilla extract– The vanilla extract adds depth of flavor.
  • Flour– You can use AP flour for these cookies.
  • Baking soda– This will give our cookies a little extra height.
  • Salt– The salt will keep the sugar amount in these cookies more balance.
  • M&M’s candies, peanut butter chips, semi sweet chocolate chips The monster cookies are characterized by this combination of add-ins. Feel free to get creative with whatever leftover Halloween candies you have.

Monster cookies without oats!

Usually, monster cookies do have oats in them but this time since I am working off of an already existing recipe that doesn’t include them I didn’t add them either.

This is a Crumbl cookie copycat recipe that doesn’t include them but trust me you’ll love these cookies just as much 🙂

How to make this Monster cookie recipe at home

This is how you can make your favorite Crumbl monster cookies. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card for the full detailed instructions!

  1. Cream the butter, Imperial Sugar brown sugar, and Imperial Sugar granulated sugar together until creamy.
  2. Mix in the egg, and the vanilla until combined.
  3. Sift in the dry ingreidents and gently fold.
  4. Add in the M&M’s, peanut butter chips, and semi sweet chocolate chips and mix.
  5. Scoop out equally sized cookie dough balls, place on a baking sheet and gently flatten to about 1 inch in thickness.
  6. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven.
  7. Pull out the cookies from the oven, top them with extra chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and M&M’s candies if you’d like, and let them cool down fully before enjoying!

HOW CAN I MAKE CRUMBL CATERING SIZED COOKIES?

Instead of making 8 giant cookies, you can make 16 smaller catering size cookies by dividing your cookie dough into 18 little balls and baking them in the preheated oven for 9-10 minutes.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325F and line a baking sheet with parchement paper then set aside.

  • In a large mixing bowl or a stand mixer bowl, cream the cold butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and creamy.

  • Add in the egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.

  • Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix just until the flour mixture disappears. Add in the M&M's, peanut butter chips, and chocolate chips and gently fold.

  • Using a large cookie scooper, scoop out 8 equally sized cookie dough balls, place them on a baking sheet, and gently press down to about 1 inch in thickness. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-13 minutes.

  • As soon as you pull out the cookies from the oven, top with a few extra chocolate chips, Peanut butter chips, and M&M's, and let the cookie rest on the baking sheet for 20 minutes or until fully cooled down to set before enjoying them.
