Chance Rates[]
What are the shiny odds?[]
~1/3000. You can get a Shiny Charm from the last game of HIde N Seek, in the post-game in order to bring the rate to about ~1/1500.
Is anything shiny-locked?[]
No.
What are the hidden ability rates?[]
There is a 1/200 chance of a wild encounter having it, which increases as you collect badges. Some roaming overworld encounters can have a 1/30 chance of having its HA.
Save Files[]
How do I update my game without losing my save?[]
Your save is located in a different location, so you can just delete the old versions folder, then download and extract the new one.
Where is my save file?[]
Windows - C:\Users[User Name]\Saved Games\Pokémon Infinity
Can I have multiple save files?[]
There's no built-in feature for multiple saves, but you can keep your old save by moving it or renaming it. The game will load whatever file is located in the save folder and is named "Game.rxdata".
Options[]
How do I make the game full screen?[]
You can't. There are 3 window size options in the game that you can access from the options menu, full screen is unfortunately not one of them.
Are the key layouts customizable?[]
There is no native feature for customizing keys, but apps like JoyToKey should work.
Is there a speed-up button?[]
Yes, but it has not been fully tested. Use with caution (save often!)
Use CTRL to cycle through 3 speed options.
How do I soft reset?[]
F9 (designed to work primarily in the field and in battle, can be buggy in other areas)
Alternate Operating Systems[]
Can I play this on my phone?[]
Only through the use of a game interpreter like JoiPlay.
Can I play this on a Mac?[]
You can install Windows 10 on your Mac to run the game, or use an app designed to run Windows programs on macOS like Wine. However, please note that the game was not designed to be run on macOS, so developers are often unable to help troubleshoot any issues related to playing on Mac.
Can I play this on a DS/GBA cartridge?[]
No. Pokémon Infinity is a fan game made with Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP, not a ROM hack, so it will be incompatible with something made to play GBA/DS games.

I can't get past the invisible barriers![]
These barriers are not blocking the path where you need to go. Look for another route.
When do I get [field move]?[]
All field moves are given out over the course of the story. They are not missable.
Can I catch the shiny Abra on Stonedust Peak?[]
You must have your first badge, and it still has a 75% chance of teleporting away.
Where is the password vendor?[]
6F of Trident Tower after completing the main game.
How many steps for an egg to hatch?[]
It depends on the species inside the egg. All Fakemon/regional form egg steps can be seen on this wiki. Any canon Pokémon that doesn't yet have a page can be found on Bulbapedia.

Every Pokémon species has a gender ratio, which determines a Pokémon's gender based on their personality value. A personality value for a species that's 100% male could return female in a 50/50 gender ratio like Nidorook.
My game crashes when viewing a Pokémon's summary[]
This is a known issue that seems to be related to soft-resetting with the F12 key.
My game won't stop scrolling to the top/bottom of menus[]
This issue is usually caused by typing in another window. Press the A and S keys until the problem stops. If that still doesn't work, try restarting your computer.
