How much finger food for 75 guests? ›

The longer the party, the more food you'll need. People will eat more the first hour and about half as much for the following hour so depending on when dinner is served, about 4-7 bites per person should be sufficient, depending on the how large the dinner is.

Type of Event:

Mixed Event: If your event includes finger foods as appetisers before a meal, aim for 3-5 pieces per person. Receptions: At wedding receptions or similar events where finger foods are part of a larger spread, 5-8 pieces per person should suffice.

When planning your finger buffet we recommend about 8 finger food items per person, perhaps 5-6 savoury and 2-3 sweet items. You can opt for just cold finger buffet items, or you can have warm items too.

How Many Finger Sandwiches Per Person. Plan for four small sandwiches per person when serving as a main course for lunch. If you are serving them as part of an appetizer spread for a party, two per person will suffice.
