Earlier this month, Funimation launched its “Naruto Ramen Chowdown” cooking series that looks to create bowls of noodles inspired by the beloved franchise.
Centered around everyone’s favorite Team 7, each recipe created in partnership with Viz by Chef Jon Kung looks to express the personality of each character. Leading the series is Naruto’s Miso Ramen drawing from the titular character’s favorite order from Ramen Ichiraku, followed by Sasuke’s Purple Cold Vermicelli Noodle Salad, Sakura’s Beet and Shoyu Ramen and Kakashi’s Chidori Ramen. Funimation is set to release the fifth episode of its “Naruto Ramen Chowdown” cooking series later this week.
