General Mills Wins Dismissal in Totino’s Pizza Rolls Label Suit (2024)

General Mills Sales Inc. shook off a proposed class suit alleging Totino’s Pizza Rolls packages mislead retail purchasers about the kind of cheese in the snack.

Lakita Smith alleged she expected the pizza rolls to have mostly traditional cheese made with dairy ingredients, not imitation cheese derived from vegetable oils. That expectation was bolstered by dictionary definitions and government rules, she said.
