I was very uncomfortable with the white woman, Crystal, who knew that young Black woman, Byreille, looked at her like a mother figure and still turned on her. She knew exactly what she was doing - she could have talked to Byreille woman to woman. The way the Byrielle was crying, I really felt for her. She’s just 18. Damn.
I need Maurice and Crystal to be featured in Love After Lockup. Something tells me that they wouldn’t disappoint.

I just watched the 3 episodes yesterday. I liked it so I watched the first season today. I’m rolling. I’m mad that sheriff stopped production for NOLA. First season was so good with plot twists. I really wanted to know more about Ms. Picard. She been there 19 years. Also the other people but I looked up their cases anyway. Jamie cracked me up and the toilet bowls relationships, But this show taught me jail don’t do much. They still do drugs, drink, fight and that’s basically it. They love the toxicity because they act like they want to leave but not really because leaving is real life, accountability and responsibilities. This could have been so good. I loved the accents etc. Hopefully, next season, a jail will give full access but they hate these shows because families become upset especially for the ones with murder charges and it can make some people believe ( not me), jail is not that bad. It is that bad!! Also they incriminate themselves daily like a dummy.

I hope we get another season with another jail. This is not first or last jail show. I understand families are upset especially when they see killers on TV, jail doesn’t want negative attention on them and attorney really hate that these women/men are incriminating themselves. On the other hand, they are not being forced. The stuff that happens are real and they volunteered to be on it for a little fame. Seems like it help the days go by quicker.
I realized from this show that not all of them are bad. Their childhood really messed up their lives. 99% percent of them are on drugs or abusing prescription drugs.

I agree because the man came to the city with his wife. Why else would he be in a hotel with her? A man with jewelry business. Well she did it. She will be in jail forever.
Jamie will get out but I think she loves jail and can’t function with out. I think she will get out and do something crazy to get life. She seems like she loved that place. I hate these women go hard for these men they don’t know smh at the bowl. Jail is like one bad high school. They are criminal but what the fµck is on their damn plate? They don’t deserve no crab legs but I could never even make out what they were eating. Also it was too much junk food. The state can give better meals.
I’m more shocked about Julie. She should get time when someone OD. That’s not her issue. Any one that does illegal drugs will probably OD.

Yes. I was like she is a Karen smh. Very manipulative. She admitted the woman could have some. Yes I would be mad they were my last bags but she could have got over it and simply told her to please don’t get it if it’s the last. But it’s jail. They are all liars and user.

I’m finally watching this show, these women lowkey mad me miss home lol. Damn I’m sad to hear about Jaime and Crystal. My faves were Lt. Picard, Jamie(Shortie), and Taylor. Fufu and Magen were too damn much
