Jason Voorhees, the big bad guy with the hockey mask who likes killing teens, is back for the ninth time.
SEX/NUDITY 6 - Three topless girls; a couple of male and female naked posteriors. A teen couple is having sex in a tent, before being impaled. Two women are shown urinating (we hear trickling).
VIOLENCE/GORE 9 - Lots of blood and gore, as Jason is leisurely blown to smithereens, while various charred and severed body parts are shown in close-ups, and a man eats a beating heart. Also, lots of graphic violence as many people are impaled, beheaded, slashed and chopped. A woman getting into her car gets her head slammed in the door and a man is shown strapped to a table, about to be tortured with a razor (nothing is actually shown). One character agrees to have two fingers broken, one at a time, slowly. Jason keeps spitting black slime into people's mouths, and a slithering alien makes an appearance.
LANGUAGE 7 - A grand total of 29 F-words and numerous other profanities and insults.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Premarital sex, serial killers, lunacy, the occult.
MESSAGE - Don't go into dark places alone.
