Novant Health Credentialing and Medical Staff Operations (CMSO) processes applications and verifies credentials for providers seeking privileges at our medical centers, ambulatory surgery centers and clinics.

The CMSO believes thorough verification and ongoing monitoring of provider credentials and performance is critical to ensuring patient safety and attracting the best and the brightest medical professionals. We use a uniform electronicapplication process, so you don’t have to submit and monitor multiple applications. With your cooperation, our staff can often complete primary-source verification of credentials within four to six weeks.
