Parking (2024)

Self Parking Options

Visitors to the MFA have three self-parking options: the Huntington Lot, the Fenway Lot, and the Museum Road Garage, all of which have entrances on Museum Road. The Huntington Lot offers closer parking to the current main entrance, the Huntington Avenue Entrance.

Parking spots may sell out during busy periods, such as school vacation weeks or special programmatic offerings. Because of this, we ask that you give yourself ample time to allow for parking at one of our facilities, on-street parking, or any of the parking facilities in our neighborhood. Please be aware that we are unable to provide discounted parking at other parking locations.

All parking facilities have handicap spaces.

All parking facilities are automated. We encourage all visitors to pay for parking at the exit stations of the garage or lots while you remain in your vehicle. We accept all major credit and debit cards. However, you may also use one of our payment kiosks located in the lobby of the garage. Cash is accepted at this location. Scan your membership card to receive the discounted rate prior to payment if applicable.

For additional information, please call the garage at 617-369-3657.
