What is UAConnect? ›

UAConnect is the student information system at the University of Arkansas. Students, faculty, and staff all utilize the system for advising, enrollment, grades, and degree progress.

Tech support is available 7 days a week at the IT Help Desk in the Arkansas Union, by phone at 479-575-2905 or online at help.uark.edu.

Virtual Arkansas refers to the student information system as the “Power Panel”.

UA Connect manages your native UAD plug-in licenses, installation, and updates. You can also demo native UAD plug-ins from within UA Connect.

The UAConnect username for students, faculty and staff is your UARK email address (jjdoe@uark.edu). The Parent Center username is your entire email address that your student used to set up your account.

To activate your student account you will need your date of birth and University ID #. You can retrieve this number from your application center. The section under "Application Details" displays your University ID # and email address.

Determining Financial Need

To determine financial need, a student must complete the FAFSA. Students release their information to the University of Arkansas by completing the college release section with the University of Arkansas Title IV Code of 001108.

Arkansas residents who have taken these course requirements and who have an overall high school GPA of 3.00 or better and an ACT score of 20 or an equivalent 930 SAT or 1020 Redesigned SAT score or better meet the minimum admission requirements.

Honors Distinction Levels

Summa Cum Laude will be awarded honors students graduating with a GPA ≥ 3.9. Magna Cum Laude will be awarded honors students graduating with a GPA 3.7 - 3.89. Cum Laude will be awarded honors students graduating with a GPA 3.5 - 3.69.

What is a passing grade at Uark? ›

SIS: This option is to be used when the offender is placed on Suspended Imposition of Sentence. If a sentence of SIS includes a term of incarceration (Probation/SIS Plus), the Order has a section for entering the amount of incarceration time in either days or months.

No tuition is required for students to attend Arkansas Virtual Academy (ARVA). As an online public school, ARVA is a tuition-free alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar public schools.

Native UAD plug-ins run on your computer's processor. No UA hardware is required. Native UAD plug-in licenses are automatically included with any corresponding UAD-2 or LUNA plug-ins you own. UAD plug-ins can also be purchased on subscription with UAD Spark here.
