In a previous post, I shared with you my thoughts behind making New Year’s resolutions, especially when it comes to developing a healthier lifestyle. In case you missed that post, allow me to paraphrase my thoughts. I feel that no matter when you start a resolution you are going to still go throw whatever prevents you from executing your resolution at the current moment.

There are still going to be holiday parties, resistance, and self-doubt. So, starting at the beginning of the year doesn’t make those issuesmagically disappear, you know? That’s just me. However, I do understand why people like to start at the beginning of the year to eat better and lose weight and I do have a heart for that reason. So, I present to you this Superfood Detox Salad recipe that is going to kick start any diet plan you have or something you can simply add to your current diet.

This salad is packed full of veggies and fruit with great benefits for your body! If you have ever had Shakeology or a Vega shake, this salad is like the physical representation of what you will find in those shakes. That is why I present to you the Superfood Detox Salad Recipe!

What’s in this Superfood Detox Salad?

The good thing about any salad recipe is that you can add and subtract any elements you want. The ingredients that are in this salad are pretty simple to find and they aren’t that unique to where many of you may not like the ingredients. Not only that, all of these ingredients in this salad recipe have special powers to help you flush out all those Christmas Cookies. Let’s take a look at some of the star players in this salad, shall we?

Radishes

First, we have radishes. I like radishes and I also think they are pretty. If a carrot and a stalk of broccoli were to get married, the carrot would walk down the aisle holding a bouquet of radishes. First of all, radishes are very filling. Therefore, after you eat this salad, you shouldn’t be starving combined with the rest of the ingredients. You should feel pretty full and revived. Radishes are good for overall liver function and can help detoxify your liver, which is the entire point of this salad, right? Radishes also release several enzymes that can help keep the liver clear of infections and prevent ulcers. I bet you didn’t know that about radishes, huh?

Cucumbers

Next, we have cucumbers. I think cucumbers get a bad rap honestly. Cucumbers can be found in detox waters, so why not add them to the salad? Cucumbers have cancer-fighting abilities, help detoxify the liver, and help with bloating! Let’s give it up for the fabulous cucumber and its life-saving abilities!

Blueberries

Now coming to the stage are blueberries. Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants that can fight just about anything harmful in your body. Blueberries are also known to help fight cardiovascular disease and other age-related conditions. Not to mention, they are also loaded with Vitamin C, help boost brain health, and fight UTI’s (Urinary Tract Infections).

Broccoli

Lastly, these ingredients need no introduction. BROCCOLI! I can probably write an entire paper on broccoli but I won’t. Broccoli serves as an anti-inflammatory to the body, helps to prevent cancer, promotes eye health, digestive support, improves bone health, helps you look younger, and the list goes on.

People! Everything our body needs is in the natural resources that Mother Earth provides us. Sure the stuff man came up with is helpful and delicious, but imagine if we ate more of this stuff that is in this salad recipe and how much better we would feel and look!

To help us eat this salad we have Kraft Green Goddess Salad dressing to give an awesome flavor and make this salad more enjoyable to eat! Green Goddess salad dressing is typically made with avocado, cilantro, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and fresh parsley. So, I hope your New Year’s resolution goes well, I hope this salad gives you the boost you need, and I help you enjoy your veggies a little more with Kraft Green Goddess Salad Dressing.

It really depends on the detoxification regimen you doing.
