Many of our Voorn customers have asked us if an air fryer can also be used to fry the Voorn Krokets and Voorn Bitterballen instead of the traditional fryer.

One of our customers, Ms. Carlien M., has an airfryer and tested both methods. She was kind enough to share her results and pictures with us. We are happy to share that the taste of the bitterballen and the krokets were the same when fried by both methods. The crust using the airfryer was a little less crispy than the regular fryer. However, she discovered that once she sprayed the bitterballen with coconut oil prior to air frying, the bitterballen were a bit more crispy.
