What is the success rate of pickpocketing elves? ›

The chance of a successful pickpocket without boosts is 33.94% at level 85 and 39.2% at level 99. This increases by 10% if the Thieving cape is worn and by another 10% with the completion of the hard Ardougne Diary, making the highest possible success rate 47.4%.

At level 85 thieving with the hard Ardougne Diary completed, the player will have a 37.3% chance for a successful pickpocket, meaning that the maximum theoretical amount of pickpockets is roughly 431 per hour. Players should attempt to trap Cirdan, or another elf close to the bank.

Elves are mainly found in Tirannwn and some in the Mourner Headquarters in West Ardougne until the events of Song of the Elves. They are initially found at the Iorwerth Camp in Isafdar, with more locations becoming available if the player starts the Mourning's End Part I and again if they complete Song of the Elves.

At the Iorwerth Camp the elves can be safespotted with Ranged or Magic by attacking the ones wielding a crystal halberd and using one of the several stools or spear-walls at the camp. The player needs to stay one extra space away from the stools or spear-walls so that the warriors cannot reach them with their halberd.

It is realistically possible to succesfully pickpocket 512 elves per hour, granting and average of 29 regular shards and one teleport seed (assuming you get one pair of seeds every two hours, averaging to one individual seed per hour), which totals up to 179 crystal shards per hour.

The best method for pickpocket XP is to throw in a healthy amount of gold by placing it on Sibbi's person, and then immediately stealing it back. It's important that players quicksave for this process, as players will be given a percentage of success for their pickpocket attempt.

Players stop failing to pickpocket Knights of Ardougne at level 95 with the medium diary perk, from which point onwards the tick-perfect rate is 252,900 experience per hour.

Preparing for the fight

In any case, aim to be at least level 120 (ideally closer to 150 or so), with at least 40 points invested into Vigor. Get your weapon leveled up to the max, as well.

The most important thing to know when facing a Dark Elf is to avoid their sparkly-red bombs. These will explode after a short time and blind Kratos if he is still near them. Thus, Kratos need to prioritize rolling out of the way of the bombs, since not doing so will leave him in a bad position.

Trolls are, for the most part, found in the Fremennik Province and north of Burthorpe. Trolls fought in quests all count towards the slayer task. The bosses can be fought again in the Nightmare Zone. Trolls tend to have alchable drops.

In order to enter the city, the quest Song of the Elves must be completed. While outside Prifddinas, it will appear as if there's nothing there when looking from outside the city walls. This is revealed by Baxtorian to be one of the security measures put in place during the God Wars.

Weaknesses. Iron: All fey are vulnerable to iron. Being stabbed with it is a death sentence, and the very ringing of iron bells can render an elf dizzy and powerless. The metal does appear to act as a poison, but instead seems to render them powerless.

Autocast is an option of many Magic weapons, primarily staves, that can be activated on the combat section of the interface. Iorwerth camp teleport scrolls are obtained from all levels of Treasure Trails clues. The scroll is destroyed when used and teleports the player to the Iorwerth Camp. They can be used for faster access to Lord Iorwerth, who is part of a hard clue scroll. This scroll is only usable after completing the Regicide quest.

Even if the Last Dragonborn is level 100 in both Sneak and Pickpocket, there is always a chance that the target will catch them in the act as the chance of success is capped at 90%. This can't be increased through the use of potions or enchantments, either — that can actually be a bad idea, which we'll touch on later.

Age: Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.

The amount and weight of an item determines the difficulty of pickpocketing it. However, the item's value determines how much the skill is leveled by after being successfully pickpocketed.
