Your Disneyland Resort vacation is almost here!As a fellow vegan, I can confirm you will have many options.
Let’s start with a few of my favorite snacks! Mickey-shaped pretzels, classic buttery popcorn and pickles are all vegan without any modifications necessary. They can be found at many of the snack carts located within both theme parks.
Now let’s talk about the food located in each theme park! We’ll start with Disneyland Park!
While visiting Star Wars Galaxy's Edge you can enjoy the Ronto-less Garden Wrap at Ronto Roasters and Blue and Green Milk at the Milk Stand. For a heartier meal, head to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo where you’ll find the Felucian Kefta & Hummus Garden Spread, one of my favorite meals in all of the galaxy!
In Fantasyland, go to Red Rose Taverne. At breakfast, order the Little Town Harvest Bowl and the Enchanted Cauli-Flower Sandwich at lunch and dinner. In Tomorrowland, at Galatic Grill, you’ll find an Impossible Breakfast Bowl for breakfast and Veggie Wrap with Fries for lunch and dinner. Or, order the Impossible Bolognese at Alien Pizza Planet.
Over in New Orleans Square, you have a few options to choose from! Vegetable Gumbo from Royal Street Veranda or the Mushroom Vegetable and Farro Stew at Harbour Galley. Close by, at French Market, ask for the off-menu vegan Jambalaya!
Head to Bengal Barbeque for a flame-grilled Outback Vegetable Skewer. At Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, you can find a Cauliflower Taco Plate served with a side of rice and beans. At the Golden Horseshoe, order the Impossible Chili Cheese Fries.
Then, when you’re ready for dessert, trek over to The Tropical Hideaway for a DOLE Whip Soft Serve! Or, try a DOLE Whip Float made with soft serve and pineapple juice. The current DOLE Whip flavors are pineapple, mango and strawberry!
Now let’s park hop to Disney California Adventure Park! Head to the Pacific Warf Cafe for the Asian Tofu Salad. Or order the Impossible Banh Mi at Lucky Fortune Cookery. At Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill you can order the Tacos Dorados de Papa.
Over at Avengers Campus, head to the Shawarma Palace for an Impossible Breakfast Sha-warm-up in the morning and an Impossible Victory Falafel in the afternoon and evening. At Pym Test Kitchen, you can order the Impossible Quantum Garden Breakfast or the Impossible Spoonful Pasta for lunch and dinner. At Smokejumper’s Grill, there’s a Double Impossible Cheeseburger and Fries! Last, but certainly not least! Right now, during Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, the entire menu at Paradise Garden Grill is plant-based! Including the kids' meals and dessert! My favorite menu item is the Impossible Gyro Fries. But everything is delicious. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose!
For dessert, head to Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats for a Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait! Or go to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop for a Non-Dairy Hot Fudge Sundae!
A helpful hint for finding plant-based food at the Disneyland Resort is to look for the green leaf symbol on the menu. This indicates an item is vegan with no modification necessary.
