4-1 How to Start Armoury Crate

Please click [Search Bar]① then type [ARMOURY CRATE]②, and then click [Open]③ to get into Armoury Crate Home page.

Note that we don't recommend uninstalling Armoury Crate permanently, especially on ROG laptops, since much of their basic functionality is governed by this software. Without it, your laptop will not perform optimally. So once you uninstall Armoury Crate, you'll want to reinstall it anew.

Overview. Armoury Crate is a software utility designed to provide centralized control of supported ROG gaming products. From a single interface, Armoury Crate put command of all your AURA gear at your fingertips with the new Aura Creator suite ready.

On the first boot up of your PC with the supported OS, the system will prompt you with an option to automatically download and execute the Armoury Crate installer. The automatic prompt will only appear on ASUS motherboards with the Armoury Crate BIOS option set to enabled in the BIOS before booting up.

If you need to install drivers and utilities, you can install them through Armoury Crate or ASUS Support Site, and please make sure that your internet is well connected first.

If Armoury Crate is not detecting your keyboard, you need to install Asus keyboard hotkeys driver. You need to visit My Asus Windows Store and you need to download Asus keyboard hotkeys driver. You have to select the keyboard product model. After downloading the driver, you should re-install Armoury Crate.

I tested this and installed Armoury Crate, so FPS did drop a lot from 120-140 to 80-90 FPS (1600p, epic settings).

Launch PC Armoury Crate

Please type and search [Armoury Crate]① in the Windows Search Box, and then click on [Open]②. In Armoury Crate [Home]③，clicking the [Mobile Connection]④ icon on the upper right to start the steps of mobile device connection.

Please launch mobile Armoury Crate App in your device, clicking [Connect via QR Code]①, and must turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection. After that, clicking [Connect Device]② and scan PC QR Code③ with Armoury Crate mobile APP to connect.
